This large group of very fine and naturally made antique solid JAPANESE BRONZE TURTLES are done in great detail and absolute best workmanship. Masterly made as an Okimono in Meiji time around 1880. The turtles are in excellent condition with perfect old dark-brown patina, also all claws are intact! The claws from bronze turtles will give the best indication for the quality of the workmanship. Make a test with a bronze turtle you may have in your collection! These five turtles have perfect worked claws; the okimono is also in all other details a master piece. Please look to the photos! The detail of the artwork is in nature much better as you can judge on the photos. The object is in very good condition, there is near no wear.
